Hello my lovelies 🙂 I hope everyone is having a nice day ♥ I just finished eating a delicious vegetable platter accompanied by a tasty hummus-inspired broccoli dip… it was scrumptious! The original recipe (inspired by Fully Raw Kristina, she is so good) calls for zucchini, which I did not have, so I substituted it with broccoli instead – still really good but with more of a “green” taste lol 🙂 Recipe below! Follow me on Instagram for more healthy food posts! @AnnieJaffrey Raw Hummus Recipe 1 head of broccoli (or 1-2 zucchinis) I also want to try this with cauliflower – it would give it a more traditional ‘beige’ hummus appearance 1 cup lemon juice 4 tbsp raw tahini paste (or 1 cup unhulled sesame seeds) 4 cloves garlic Pinch of cumin Pinch of himalayan sea salt Step 1: Place broccoli florets (or zucchini / cauliflower) in a food processor and pulse till it becomes a light fluffy texture Step 2: Blend the lemon juice, tahini, garlic, cumin and himalayan salt in a high speed blender to make a creamy paste Step 3: Pour the paste in the food processor with the broccoli, pulse a few times until it’s mixed well I served this with fresh celery, cherry tomatoes, baby carrots, yellow and red bell peppers!
