I’m not even going to lie, I have a lot of skin care products lol but I love them all and each serves a different purpose – imagine how hard it is to travel 🙂 I need a checklist and separate bag 🙂 But with that said, as mentioned in the video, skin care is just a small percentage of having good skin. Most of it (to me personally) comes down to what I eat. If I have a bad food week, I’ll be paying for it a few days later! Foods that absolutely brake me out are dairy products, chocolate and any salty foods (more on that here).
These products are mostly geared towards people with combination/oily acne-prone skin. You can definitely minimize breakouts and oiliness by eating correctly and using the right skincare for your skin type. I hope you find this video helpful!
Cutting out dairy was no problem for me, but the wheat is harder. I’ve cut down about 90% of the amount of wheat I used to eat before and it’s made a big difference in not only my skin, but my body! My body feels a lot more “slender”, as in I don’t feel bloated anymore. Wheat can really swell up your body, and I’ve totally been enjoying this wheat free body of mine now. I will still have the occasional wheat, but I make sure it’s whole grain, brown etc. My skin get’s less oily I find when I don’t eat wheat. Click here to read the full post.

Other tips for great skin
– Drink plenty of water
– Eat clean & healthy (lots of fresh fruit & veggies)
– Keep your skin cleansed, exfoliated and hydrated
– Avoid touching your face with dirty hands
– Make sure makeup brushes are clean and sanitized
– Avoid keeping makeup (& face towels) in your bathroom near the toilet
– Change your pillow case every 2-3 days
– Exercise to get your blood moving
– Stress less
– Be calm & happy (our mood affects our skin tremendously)
