Yesterday I did a totally out of the blue thing and got my hair ombréd this gorgeous blonde color. When I say out of the blue, I mean big-bam-crazy-idea fallen from the sky! It’s perfect for the summer though and I think it looks pretty good! It was definitely a shocker when I saw it, but the color is growing on me. It’s as if I’d been on vacation for three no five weeks in the sun lol. Not going to lie, my hair does feel very dry so I’m stepping up my conditioner and leave-in treatments a notch to re-nourish the hair. I also picked up a UV defense leave-in treatment spray today so it doesn’t get any more bleached in the sun.
I used to be pretty against coloring my hair but since this is ombréd, it only really dries out the bottom ends – which get trimmed quite often anyway so you’re not damaging your scalp. They also have these new hair colors now that don’t use any bleach or ammonia so it’s much safer for your hair. If anyone living in NYC is interested in having it colored with the same person, just send me a quick email and I will forward you his contact info. What do you guys think of this new look? I actually feel blonde – it’s quite scary, but fun to change things up a little!
