  12. Hi Annie,

I really enjoy your videos and blogposts on your new way of eating and I admire you for being so commited to it, which is not always easy when it comes to social situations etc. Maybe you could do a video on that: How do you handle birthday parties or family gatherings? Do you bring your own foods? Are your family and friends supportive? Does your bf eat that way too? I know from personal experience that it can be an issue.
It would also be great if you could do a shopping haul (fashion) next or a video about your current fitness routine. That is always interesting.

Thanks for sharing your experience and I find you truly inspiring.

  13. Beautiful and inspiring as always!!! You are the first blogger I started following 2 years ago and I have the same excitement and smile on my face every time you upload, as I did in the beginning :)
I wanted to suggest a really healthy and tasty sweet for you: sesame honey candy (or greek pasteli) as well as tahini
I found this recipe and I thought you would love it because it's raw

    No-Cook Honey Sesame Treats

    1 ½ cup sesame seeds

    ¼ cup walnuts or pecans

1 Tbsp. tahini (ground sesame paste)

    1/3 cup raw honey

    1-2 pinches of sea salt

    opt: 1/3 cup coconut
In food processor, process sesame seeds and nuts into a coarse meal (some seeds still whole). Add sea salt, tahini and honey, and process until mixture begins to hold together. Press into a small pan, refrigerate, then cut into squares.
Variation: Add 3 Tbsp. carob powder or 1 Tbsp. cocoa powder.

  15. Hi Annie, I am very inspired by your video!
Last year I had a liver dysfunction after a doctor prescribed me a very strong antibiotic and I had to follow a strict diet for 6 months (the time for the liver to completely heals itself). I know exactly what do you mean when you say that you develop a better relationship with your body - it feels amazing!!! People could eat chocolate, ice cream and all sorts of tempting foods in front of me and I wouldn't even care.
Unfortunately in the winter (after the 6 months) I got a bit lazy following my healthy eating plan but now I want to start again and hopefully this time for good. My aim is to eat LOW Fat Raw since I must avoid to put stress on my liver at any cost. Do you know or red any books about Low Fat Raw that you can recommend to me?
I wish you good luck on your healing journey! I'm sure it work out! xox

  16. Hello, I am so grateful that I have found you on Youtube! You are such an inspiration. I have a few questions for you and I would be so happy if you could answer. What would you advice for a people who lives in a countries where it is impossible to buy for example fresh bananas or other fresh fruits, because we get everything imported from other countries and I don't trust it, I think it's full of chemicals... Do u personally think it is still worth to eat?

Another question is: how is your life in Dubai? I think, it should be very hard to be so far away from your friends, just with your boyfriend. Do u ever feel like lonely or sad because you made this change??
Another question: how do you resist from alcohol, for example when you are going out with friends and stuff like that??

Also, is youtube is ur only work you do for a living?

I think you should do a vlog about your daily life in Dubai. :)) Also more more more talking videos please, about everything- health, beauty, how to stay motivated.

Lot's of love, Anna xo xo xo

  25. Hi Annie, I'm so glad to see you trying out this interesting raw food lifestyle! I used to be into it a few years back and even though I didn't keep it up, my goal is to go back to it one day again. I've been vegan for years now, just not 100% raw. I wanted to recommend a great book on raw foods by Tonya Zavasta. It's called: Your Right to Be Beautiful: The Miracle of Raw Foods.(the title can be a bit misleading; the "beauty" part is not the main point of the book). I think you might find it even more interesting than 80/10/10.

    Keep it up!:-)

  26. Hi Annie, great video. I follow an eating plan to get my to my ideal of 55kgs, Im 1.56m, pretty short so its important for me to be at an ideal weight. I suffered a couple of health issues last year, many if which with the help of a good doctor are completely eradicated. 3 months ago i started my eating plan., which is 90% raw with the exception that i need to consume protein in the form of eggs, chicken and fish. I am also insulin resistant so i dont consume any bread, starch, carbohydrate w hich can spike my inslulin and cause my body to store the glucose as fat instead of metabolising it in someone who isnt insulin resistant. I dont eat sugar, any fats, or oils. This the best i have ever felt. I only flavour my food with lemon juice and some salt and eat all my veg raw. I eat fruit for breakfast, two combinations and 250grams of fruits that are higher in sugars. I dont take any milk and my vegetables are free meaning I can consume as much as I want and have as much variety as I want. This is the healthiest I have ever eaten because of the variety I consume. 3 months ago i weighed 78kgs and now I weigh 60 kgs, my emotions are stable, my mood is stable, the way I think and interact is different and the relationship i have with my body is incredible, there is a peace and calm I have with nourishing my body this way that money cant buy, i no longer get mood swings, my cycle is stable and my follow up with my doctor was positive, she was so amazed with the way I look, glowing skin, bright eyes, the picture of health from within that makeup cannot replicate. She said to me that every morsel of food we put in our mouths dictates how our cells develop and change, healthy food in its natural form will give rise to healthy cells and junk food will give rise to poor quality cells. She says that a healthy diet will in a sense create a body that is free of disease, reverse disease and help pave the way for having a healthy child, and what you say is 100% true, everything a pregnant woman consumes her child in turn is consuming too so why not give the life inside you the best and most nutritional, why not make your body a haven for pure glowing health because what you plant in it will dictate how well it grows and thrives !!! I wish you an incredible raw food journey and may you discover amazing treasures on your journey !!! Stay Beautiful !!

  29. Thank you so much for sharing your experiences! I loved the video! It was beautifully done and you mentioned so much valuable information. I applaud you for staying so poised and positive during such a tremendous transition in your eating habits. I have been a strict vegetarian for 20 years because I am allergic to animal protein and to this day I am still struggling with criticism and negativity from naysayers (until they see me getting sick from accidental consumption of traces of dairy or eggs)! As soon as you change your eating habits away from the conventional diet, people get very sensitive, defensive about their diet and "worried" for you. I am looking forward to your next block post and learning new things with you! <3
