My Transition to 100% Raw

Hey guys! Happy Monday :) I have a new video up for you talking about my experience going 100% raw - and a bit more information on what this lifestyle consists of. I hope you find it interesting. The video was initially A LOT longer because I had quite a lot to say, but I trimmed it down as much as I could to keep all the topics short & sweet. Let me know if there's anything you'd like me to talk more in depth about in a separate video! Also, feel free to share if you are currently on a raw foods lifestyle or if it’s something you would like to try one day. I hope you guys enjoy the video!

This is super good over raw / regular pasta, as a salad dressing, as a dip...

  1. Hi Annie ! I'm really curious to eat this way, but it's really difficult to follow this lifestyle when you have a family. I'm 20 years young and still lives by my mom and dad.. They are against this and eat really fat.

And for example, tomorrow I'm going for 2 days to Disneyland Paris. And in may I am going 10 days to France for my internship. How can I eat raw on these days or at least healthy?

When you go away (like vacation) how do you eat healthy? Sometimes you don't have a lot of choice to eat.

Thank you for your answer !! :) Definitely check out my blog: beautopya.blogspot.com

    You are so gorgeous!

  3. Hi Annie!! I am rooting for you & hope that you continue to feel better and see positive changes in your health and life due to this raw lifestyle. I am very interested to see if you keep with it, because I've tried it once before and was overwhelmed by how much I had to eat to keep my energy level up during workouts. Best of luck and I wish you well!

  4. Hi Annie,
I'm so happy that you decided to go raw. I've been a Vegan for 5 years now and my body feels so good. I can't imagine having a lifestyle that is any different. Because Veganism is so good for my body. I hope that you keep this lifestyle up!

  15. Hi Annie! I am sorry to hear about whatever you have. What comes hand in hand with a healthy diet/medication when you are diagnosed with something is definitely your state of mind. You have to keep positive, persistant and have the willpower to overcome it. This is half the work. While I know that it's personal. sharing your journey can inspire others, and it could be a outlet for you.

On a positive note, it's so inspirational that you are going clean in make up and food. When you go out there there is just so much temptation with unhealthy food and chemically filled make up. Coming back to your blog always gives me perspective and keeps my eyes on the prize! I would love to see you do some sort of series sharing your daily life and routine. For example listing your usual day to day exercise routine in a week, a list of example of what you would eat in a week and your weekly skincare routine. I just feel that this would make it easy for anyone starting out exercising and eating healthy. I also hope you share some of the information you find out in regards to your diet and recipes.
I always look forward to your vids <3

  20. Hi,

It's the first time that I put a comment here :)
I am french, so please excuse me for the english mistakes!
I just wanted to tell you that I really appreciate the path that you are currently taking. It's so different from all the other beauty channels on youtube. And I don't know why, but I feel that you are genuinely a gentle person. Someone who is sincere and who cares about her life, her actions, others.
I am 24 years old too and I came up to the same conclusions as you recently. I decided that I will use 100% chemical free / natural make-up and eat ecological food. And that I will only eat meat or fish if the animal was killed "properly" and had a decent life (by the way, I don't know if you read "Killing animals", but I learned a lot by reading this book).
I also wanted to tell you that I use a lot Weleda cosmetics. I don't know if you tried them, but if I should recommend 2 products to you, it would be:
    - this facial cleanser / cleansing milk: http://www.oo.com.au/Weleda-Gentle-Cleansing-Milk-F_P212734.cfm?AFID=14&cm_mmc=GetPrice-_-HealthBeauty-_-Skincare-_-GOSNETBTY-148668&utm_source=GetPrice&utm_medium=CSE&utm_campaign=GOSNETBTY-148668&CA_6C15C=730008540000385593
It smells lavender and I really like the smell, it reminds me the south of France :)
    - and also this cream, for the hands: http://usa.weleda.com/our-products/shop/pomegranate-hand-cream.aspx
Again, the smell is very nice. It put it on my hands before going to bed and I feel relaxed.

I hope you will get better soon. I really mean it, even if I don't know you in real life.
But also (and I don't want to give the impression to know everything!) maybe don't give up entirely on meat and fish. I know that they can do great "good" to your body if you choose them carefuly. Hard to find my words in english...

    Have a nice day :)

  21. Just watched the video! So great to see that you're really doing your research and that this lifestyle is totally working for you; I hope it helps heal you as well. Going 100% raw isn't easy and not for everyone, but for those it is right for it is perfect.

  22. I know I love eating raw, it's delicious and saves time on preparing food!
