I couldn't even fall asleep last night, just thinking about the thousands of people who lost their homes :( it breaks my heart and I am praying for everyone. I hope everything will get restored, as best as it can, soon. I am currently safe & dry with my family in New Jersey, hoping power & water come back as soon as possible. We are thankfully staying at a hotel for the moment - which by the way looks like a busy, bustling, airport with the amount of people here. I will keep you posted! Were you affected by this hurricane? If so, do you have power and water back?

ReplyDeleteI live in manhattan and my house was blown away, my brother that is 17 got crushed by the falling houses, but right now I am safe in a hotel. My brother broke his leg and one of his hands got, well I'm just going to say it needed to be amputated. I'm 11 years old and thankfully only my arm was badly bruised. I love you Annie and you inspire me! Btw my name is Annie too! I'm on my moms phone with terrible wifi so I don't know when this will really load up. So just confirming to you for me it's Halloween, love you Annie!

I live in NYC too, and thankfully, we didn't lose power. We had very strong winds, but grateful it was that. I'm praying for everyone that was affected by this hurricane and hoping that we soon have everything back to normal.
