Hi ladies! It's been so long since I've blogged. Found myself out of the NYC again lol. My family and I went to LA for just a few days to help my brother move in to his new apartment. We did a whole makeover! Top to bottom clean, bought new furniture, revamped some of his old things, did lots of laundry, (did I mention clean? lol) and decorated. We could've easily been on a home makeover show. It was so fun but so exhausting! He loves it now though, and I do too :) I just got back last night, and was so eager to film and edit a new video for you! I've been wanting to show you how I get this elegant top knot bun which I've been sporting around town.. ;) This hairstyle is so easy to create, you could do it with your eyes closed, but looks really pretty and put together. It's been my go-to hairstyle between washes, and before events where I don't have a lot of time to get ready, I always rely on this. So of course I want to share it with you!
Products Used:
- Paddle brush (conair)
- Smoothing brush (creative brushes small bristles styling brush)
- Hair ties
- L'Oreal Elnett hairspray
- Mesh donut (they're usually very cheap, I got mine for $1!)
- Bobby pins

I did it this morning and looked great. I have long hair almost to my waist and it made lol shorter which is nice without having to cut it.

ReplyDeleteI found this tutorial yesterday and decided to give it a try since I was having a bad hair day. I put on my Jessica Simpson bangs, grabbed a sock, and tried this bun. I'm not usually very talented at doing my hair and this was easy enough for me to do. I went out not even being sure it was going to hold. Not only did it hold, but later on in the afternoon, I went shopping for some rain boots and a girl came up to me and told me she liked my hair!! That never happened before! I was so happy! :D Thank you Annie! Although I just fell upon your blog yesterday, I am already hooked and will definitely be sticking around. :) Keep being your beautiful self.
