ReplyDeletemy fav smoothie is:
1 banana
1/2 C rolled oats
1 C Mixed berries
1 C almond milk
1 tablespoon Linseed,Sunflower and Almonds (LSA)

Woww Annie, you eat soo healthy :) for my part I eat every day tomato salad from my garden, but I have to admit that I often eat crisps or bad food :/ especially in summer ! Thanks for sharin this great post as always you do!Much lovee from France (when are you coming to see me in France ? ;)
ReplyDeletea little tip. When you make the quinoa use only as much water as you need. because if you pour the water away you also pour a lot of those vitamins in the quinoa away which "go" in the water during cooking.
ReplyDeleteBut it's a great post :)
Thanks
Love you Annie! You're a great inspiration. Would you suggest eating a big breakfast and then smaller throughout the day, or try to keep each meal equal?
ReplyDeleteMiss Maven has a great kale/coconut smoothie recipe on her site that I love. Its basically a frozen banana, 3 kale leaves + the stalks, 1 cup coconut milk and about 6 ice cubes. You can add agave or honey to sweeten if you want. I have added a kiwi to sweeten it and that was great.
ReplyDeleteI absolutely love this post. I've kind been struggling with find a variety of healthy foods and your video has definitely given me some extra options :) i've never tried quinoa before though. I've never even seen it in my local supermarket!
ReplyDeleteMy favourite healthy meal is probably salmon on brown or pumpernickel bread with a few herbs sprinkled over and some cayenne chilli pepper :)
can you do also a room tour video?? please!!! a lot of people are asking that! it would be great :) love ya!

ReplyDeleteI never ever miss any of your blogs or videos, Annie! I truly appreciate your dedication you put into your posts! xoxo
ReplyDeleteAnnie, from your food videos it comes across as though you don't eat a lot of meat. I am just wondering if there is any reason to this? Like health reasons for example. I would be interested to hear your take on it?
ReplyDeleteTotally agree on the delicious salmon and avocado!
ReplyDeleteI love eating a bowl of natural soy-yoghurt with a hand full of walnuts for a snack.
It's really filling because of the nuts and it's good for your hair as well!
As breakfast you should try warm oatmeal with some slices of banana and cinnamon to flavour it up!
You'll feel full until noon!
xx
Hi again! I just saw you already know about the greatness of oatmeal!
ReplyDelete(You mentionned it in one of your last posts, dindn't see it at first...)
For breakfast I also enjoy mixing a freshly chopped nectar, some strawberries and kefir.
If you have more time in the morning, you might like this too;
Chop up an apple in a loooot of even slices and put it nicely in a small glass baking dish.
Then preheat your oven. Next you have to crumble two slices of gingerbread on top. Take an egg and only mix the yellow part in a little bowl. Then you pour the yellow on top of your apple-gingerbread dish.
Now put it the dish in the ovon for about 15 min. Make sure it get's crunchy, but not black and burned.
It's really fabulous!
For lunch: I like to eat plain salad, regular beans from a tin, a fried egg and a bit of ketshup for luch.
Love your blog, Annie! You're truely such a source of inspiration to me! xo

ReplyDeleteLove this! Cant wait for more...
ReplyDeletehow do you stay full?! i don't think i would feel full by just eating fruit and veggies all day. for breakfast especially, i need protein and a few carbs to feel full and energized. if i ate like you did, i would be skin & bones (i'm already naturally very thin).
ReplyDeletehey where did you get that indian healingclay mask please tell me :)
ReplyDeleteYou can purchase it at any whole foods store or buy it on ebay.
DeleteI really love your healthy and like meals ideas, you should do a tag like Anna Saccone's "What I Ate Wednesday", which she talks about what she ate in a day, and she does it every single Wednesday... I think it's a brilliant idea :) Xx
ReplyDeleteI really have to try the toast with avocado and salmon... sounds sooo good!
ReplyDeleteHey Annie it would be so cool if you could do a tutorial of threading your brows :)
ReplyDeletebreakfast: honeydew melon and water
ReplyDeletelunch: panko breaded chicken tenders (homemade and baked, not fried) over salad with homemade honey mustard dressing :)
snack: brownie
dinner: will be grilled chicken breast, yellow spanish rice and spinach
dessert: more honeydew melon!
i eat a lot of fruit and veggies but i also eat the foods i like :)
I think that is the best way to go! Eat what you want, but keep in mind the things that taste good and are good for you :)
Deletethis blog is fantastic, following you with pleasure! hope u do the same for me?
ReplyDeleteFor the people saying that Annie isn't eating a lot of meat... maybe she just doesn't crave meat that often. I eat about the same amount of meat as she does, and I am more than satisfied with that amount!! Annie your diet is by far one of the healthiest I've seen! Whenever I eat less healthy I feel it physically so it's a good reminder to get back into it. Here's what I ate today:
ReplyDeleteBreakfast:
Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwich (ham, cheese, egg, whole wheat muffin)
Diet Dr. Pepper
Lunch:
2 slices Amy's Roasted Vegetable pizza - AMAZING pizza
Arugula salad with raw corn, crispy prosciutto, goat cheese, and vinaigrette
Snack:
1/2 cheese roll
Dinner:
Pumpkin ravioli w/vodka sauce
bite of my fiance's brownie
Well now I know why I feel so full today... Lol!! You are an inspiration, please make more healthy living videos. They remind me of the importance of choosing healthy foods; it's not just about weight loss, but simply about feeling better.
Thanks for your inspiration!
Best,
Becky
Hi Annie:) I think your meals ideas are very inspirational! I love your blog and you look so beautiful, you're my motivation to improve my personal attitude! I started to do more sport activities and eat healthier:)
ReplyDeleteStill, I am a bit curious, do you never feel the need to eat a good greasy pizza or something like that?:)
That happens to me sometimes, but I try to resist because I want to loose some pounds and stay fit and healthy. Could you eventually give some advices to prevent those food cravings or how you manage this?:/
Thank your for everything Annie:) Sarah
Hello Annie! Thanks for your amazing videos:) I have a question: do you exclusively eat organic veggies? I live in a small village in France and it is extremely hard, and even impossible to get a variety of organic stuff.
ReplyDeleteAnnie do you eat only 3 meal in a day? do you have more snacks? please tell me becouse i dont know what to do...eat 3 meals or 5 or more... i want loose weight so how much meals i should eat during the day? thanks!
